Hello from Nora
I’m a filmmaker and documentarian. My film, THE GREAT VANISHING: PART IV, an award-winning indie horror short, debuted at the Manhattan Film Festival and topped the box office week. I have two feature-length documentaries in production: one on preservation in East Brooklyn, and one on hometown heroes in NC. I won’t claim all credit for the miraculous kid I have, but I’m cultivating a life for them such that they’ll be an amazing addition to our world.
I use my background in journalism, philosophy, and public service to tell stories that matter.
My company, Nora For Good LLC, produces films and community projects at low cost to clients. We guide operations with a co-creator mindset— not just consulting with protagonists, but including them as producers in their own stories.
Before news, I worked in commercial video, producing everything from lifestyle to life stories. I’ve always stayed on the path that’s featured storytelling - from explorations of political history at 21CF, to helping filmmakers define their work and goals, to documenting women and femme figures impacting their communities.
